Everywhere you look, you'll find a universe of inspiration waiting to be discovered. My journey as a printmaker has been about capturing that complexity and inviting others to see the extraordinary within the ordinary.
For 16 years, I honed my craft alongside master artist Paul Yank, whose guidance taught me the nuances of printmaking and the boundless possibilities of this medium. With his mentorship, I developed my own personal style—a style that celebrates the richness of the world around us and challenges viewers to explore new perspectives.
Through my monoprints and collagraphs, I strive to create an enhanced reality. Each piece is a fusion of tones, hues, textures, and shadows that encourages you to see beyond the surface. My work isn’t just about creating art; it’s about sparking curiosity, stimulating imagination, and helping you uncover beauty in places you might not have noticed before.
When you view my work, I invite you to pause, look closely, and embark on an odyssey of discovery. Let the colors, textures, and layers guide you to fresh perspectives and deeper appreciation for the intricate world we inhabit. Enjoy your voyage through my galleries, and may you leave with your imagination stirred and your vision expanded.
Milwaukee Public Television regularly features selected artists on its "Arts Page" broadcast. To support the station, I was interviewed, and contributed a work of art to its Wisconsin Collection.
The result was my monoprint, Whooping It Up, celebrating the mating dance of the whooping cranes. The original and 100 reproductions were auctioned off live on the air.
This video segment was aired on 18 Public Broadcasting stations from Los Angeles to Tampa to Boston, including WTVS in Detroit.
